Korcula

Island of Korcula is one of 1000 Croatian Islands that is located at the southern part of Adriatic Sea. The legend says that Marco Polo, the famous world traveller was born here :-)

On Korcula Island , where sandy bays are few and far between, there is nothing to cloud the clarity of the surrounding seas, making them perfect for swimming, snorkelling and diving.

With rocky beaches, pebble coves and man-made bathing platforms, it is easy to make the most of the water, and for those who would rather be on it than in it, there are island hopping ferries to many of the offshore islets and outcrops.
